While you're present in the Cody's Shack Discord server, please follow these guidelines at all times to help keep our server safe and civil for everyone.

These rules also apply to any subsidiary servers of Cody's Shack.


  1. Respect

    2. Please treat everyone in the server with respect at all times. Everyone should be treated with the same amount of respect, regardless of their gender, race, etc. This is a very easy rule to follow, nobody should be breaking this.

  2. Drama

    3. We don't want any drama here. If you have drama with a specific user, take it to DMs.

  3. Channels

    4. Use all channels for their intended purpose.

    Do not "earrape" or make any loud, unnecessary noises in voice channels.

    Do not advertise in any channel without permission, unless you are posting in 📷｜self-promo.

  4. Language

    5. Please only communicate in English.

    No hard swearing or slurs are allowed. Light/casual swearing is allowed, but do not abuse this privelege.

  5. Pinging

    6. Never ping anyone without a good reason.

    Ghost pings (pinging someone and then deleting the message) will result in punishment.

  6. Spam

    7. Do not spam or "flood" a channel unless explicitly permitted to do so by Management or higher.

  7. Staff Instructions

    8. Always listen to staff and follow their instructions.

  8. Doxxing & Personal Information

    9. Do not share anything major about yourself, like your last name, address, etc. We will delete any messages we deem unsafe.

    Do not "dox" or share another user's personal information in any way. We have a zero-tolerance policy for this rule.

  9. NSFW Content

    10. Absolutely ZERO content containing NSFW, Gore, or any other unsafe content may be posted or shared.

    Expect a ban immediately if you even have content like this on your profile.

  10. Exploits

    11. Discord exploits are not permitted.

    Client-side mods are allowed, but nothing that changes anything relating to the server.

  11. Alt Accounts

    12. "Alt" accounts, or any accounts other than your main account, may not be used to evade punishment.

  12. Impersonation

    13. Impersonating anyone, regardless of their rank, status, etc., is not allowed.

    "Larping" is allowed, but it must be clearly recognizable that you are not the real person.

  13. Honesty

    14. All reports you make against others must be in good faith.

    Evidence cannot be fake or made up. We can and will ask for further proof that any evidence provided is real.

  14. Mini-modding

    15. If you are not a staff member, don't act like one.

    If you believe someone has broken the rules, just open a ticket.

  15. Politics

    16. Refrain from having political arguments. Take it to DMs if needed.

    Light talk about politics is allowed, but the instant it starts to get heated, you must end the conversation.

  16. Discord Terms & Guidelines

    17. You must also follow the Discord Terms of Service and Community Guidelines in addition to these rules.

    Breaking any of the rules outlined in those documents will result in a ban and a report to Discord.
